Ramy Rabia Scores and Assists in Al Ain Title Win

Ramy Rabia scored and assisted as Al Ain beat Sharjah 5-0 on Wednesday to secure the 2025-26 UAE Pro League title with two matches remaining.
The Egyptian set up Al Ain’s third goal in the 51st minute, sending a long pass for Erik Jorgens to score after the break.
Rabia then scored Al Ain’s fifth goal in the 63rd minute, heading in from a Matias Palacios delivery to complete the scoring.
Abdulkarim Trawri opened the scoring in the 10th minute before Sharjah’s Majed Hassan Ahmed turned the ball into his own net five minutes later. Soufian Rahimi added the fourth goal in the 54th minute.
The win moved Al Ain to 62 points at the top of the table, while Sharjah remained 10th with 25 points.
The goal was Rabia’s second in the league this season and his first trophy with Al Ain since joining the club at the start of the campaign.

Mostafa Mohamed Faces Ligue 2 Drop With FC Nantes
Mostafa Mohamed and Nantes dropped to Ligue 2 after a 1-0 defeat to Lens confirmed the club’s relegation.
Mostafa Mohamed and FC Nantes were relegated from Ligue 1 after a defeat to Lens confirmed the club’s drop to Ligue 2 with one match left.
Mohamed came on in the 82nd minute, but Nantes failed to find an equaliser after 16-year-old Mezian Mesloub scored the winning goal for Lens late in the match.
Nantes needed a win to keep alive their chance of reaching the relegation playoff. The defeat left them second from bottom on 23 points, five behind Auxerre, with one league game remaining.
The result ended Nantes’ 13-year stay in the French top flight. Lens moved to 67 points and secured Champions League qualification.
The Egyptian striker had recently ended an 84-day scoring drought by scoring in a 1-1 draw against Brest in April.
Mostafa Mohamed joined FC Nantes on loan from Galatasaray in 2022 before the club activated its purchase option in June 2023. During his first season, he scored 11 goals and made five assists.

الدوري الفرنسي: لنس يحجز مقعده في دوري الأبطال ويُسقط نانت إلى الدرجة الثانية
قاد البديل ميزيان سواريس البالغ 16 عاما لنس إلى فوز ثمين على نانت 1-0، الجمعة، ضمن المرحلة الـ 33 من الدوري الفرنسي لكرة القدم، ضامنا من خلاله تأهله المباشر إلى دوري أبطال أوروبا، فيما تأكد هبوط نانت إلى الدرجة الثانية.
كما أبقى الانتصار على آمال لنس قائمة في سباق التتويج بلقب الدوري، كونه الفريق الوحيد الذي لا يزال حسابيا قادرا على حرمان باريس سان جرمان من اللقب.
وبعد 79 دقيقة خيّم عليها التعادل السلبي لكنها كانت حافلة بالإثارة، استغل سواريس، ابن الـ 16 ربيعا، كرة مرتدة داخل منطقة الجزاء وسددها بطريقة رائعة إلى الشباك، مانحا فريقه هدف الفوز.
ورفع لنس، صاحب المركز الثاني، الفارق إلى سبع نقاط أمام ليون الثالث، مع تبقي مباراتين لكل فريق (67 مقابل 60). ويمنح المركز الثالث أيضا بطاقة إلى دوري الأبطال، لكن عبر الدور التمهيدي الثالث.
ورغم أن ميزانية لنس لا تتجاوز عُشر ميزانية سان جرمان، فإنه لا يزال يملك فرصة المنافسة على اللقب، إذ يتأخر بفارق ثلاث نقاط فقط عن فريق العاصمة الفرنسية إلا أن الاخير يملك مباراة مؤجلة، على أن يلتقي الفريقان أيضا في 13 الجاري.
وصمد نانت لفترات طويلة أمام ضغط لنس بفضل تألق حارسه البرتغالي أنتوني لوبيش الذي تصدى لسلسلة من الفرص، فيما أُلغي ثلاثة أهداف للفريق المضيف بداعي التسلل أو لمس الكرة باليد.
وبات نانت، بطل فرنسا عام 2001، متأكدا من إنهاء الموسم ضمن المركزين الأخيرين، ليهبط من دوري الأضواء للمرة الثالثة منذ تتويجه باللقب.
ويلعب سان جرمان أمام بريست على أرضه الأحد.
