Bosa Aims to Practice Wednesday
49ers GM John Lynch confirmed that Nick Bosa plans to practice on Wednesday, as the star edge rusher continues his recovery from an ACL tear suffered last September. "Wednesday, he wants to get out on the field," Lynch said in a KNBR interview.
Bosa has been working to the side in practice recently after dealing with tendinitis during his recovery. The 49ers are being cautious with his return, even as Week 1 of the NFL season approaches.

Beyond getting cut from the roster on Sunday, Hyatt has 36 catches for 470 yards and zero touchdowns in three full seasons wearing No. 13.
In his first 12 games with the Giants in 2014, OBJ had 91 catches for 1,305 yards and 12 touchdowns.

As the chaos continues over whether certain players released by NFL teams can return to college football, various NFL figures have been asked for their views on the situation.
During a Tuesday press conference, Colts G.M. Chris Ballard said his team was approached by no rookies asking to be waived so that they could pursue a fifth season at the college level.
Ballard added this regarding the phenomenon, via Nathan Brown of the Indianapolis Star: “That’s the stupidest shit I’ve ever heard.”

Browns sign CB Noah Igbinoghene, DE Sam Williams
The Browns announced the signing of defensive end Sam Williams on Tuesday and they also announced the addition of a veteran cornerback.
They have signed Noah Igbinoghene to their 53-man roster. Igbinoghene spent the preseason with the Seahawks, but was released on Sunday.
Igbinoghene played in 32 games and made 12 starts for the Commanders over the last two seasons. He had 35 tackles and a sack last year.
The Browns placed defensive tackle Kalia Davis on injured reserve and waived cornerback Michael Coats in corresponding moves. They also signed defensive tackle Sam Kamara, running back Jaleel McLaughlin, tight end Messiah Swinson, and defensive tackle Chris Williams to their practice squad.
