Paul Confirmed with Spinal Injury After DTM Crash

Three days after his severe DTM crash at the Norisring, Maximilian Paul has been confirmed to have suffered a spinal injury, among other fractures, his team has revealed.

Team principal Gottfried Grasser informed Motorsport-Total.com that the 26-year-old driver from Dresden suffered "a fibula and a tibia fracture as well as a lumbar vertebra fracture" in the accident. cricket-ipl.co.za

The full extent of Paul's injuries was not immediately apparent after the crash, with previous official reports only mentioning a lower leg injury.
