Saints, Browns Gain Marketing Rights in Italy

The NFL has added Italy to its Global Markets Program for 2026, with the Saints and Browns awarded marketing rights in the country.

The league announced Italy's addition to the program at its annual meeting on Monday. Italy becomes the 22nd international market for the NFL, highlighting the league's continued focus on global growth. "The expansion of the Global Markets Program in its fifth year highlights the continued focus on global growth for the NFL and 32 teams," said NFL Managing Director and Head of International Gerrit Meier.

In addition to Italy's addition, the Raiders have expanded their international market rights to include Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates. Teams with marketing rights in a country typically have opportunities to play international games there, meaning the Browns and/or Saints could potentially play in Italy as the NFL looks to expand its schedule.
