Colts Owner Irsay-Gordon Says No Private Equity Sale Now

Colts owner Carlie Irsay‑Gordon said the team isn’t planning to sell a stake to private equity, though future stadium upgrades could change that.

Irsay‑Gordon, who inherited the Colts with her sisters from their father Jim Irsay, confirmed on ESPN that the franchise has considered private‑equity deals but has no intention of pursuing them at present.

She added that while the team’s 20‑year‑old Lucas Oil Stadium needs renovation, private equity could be a useful funding tool if the Colts decide to upgrade the arena in the future.
