Hutchinson Eyes 2026 Defensive Player of the Year

Lions defensive end Aidan Hutchinson expressed his desire to be recognized as the NFL's best defender when asked about his 2026 aspirations. "Do I have aspirations for Defensive Player of the Year? Yeah, the mentality is always that, for sure," Hutchinson said during Organized Team Activities.

Hutchinson, who was the betting favorite for Defensive Player of the Year in 2024 before suffering a season-ending leg injury, expressed satisfaction with his 2025 performance.
