Giants Claim DL Ravenell Off Waivers

The New York Giants claimed defensive lineman C.J. Ravenell off waivers from the Tennessee Titans on Tuesday.

The Giants waived defensive back Rico Payton to create space on their 90-man roster for the addition. Ravenell had been waived from Tennessee's injured reserve list on Monday, where he had been placed since June. cricket-ipl.co.za

Ravenell played in 14 games for Tennessee last season, recording six tackles and one forced fumble. Payton had 12 tackles in nine games for the Giants last season and also appeared in 16 games for the Saints in 2024.
