Brissett works out amid Cardinals contract dispute

Despite his ongoing contract dispute, Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett worked out with teammates in South Florida this week in preparation for training camp.

Jacoby Brissett brought several teammates, including Marvin Harrison Jr., Trey McBride, Elijah Higgins, Kedon Slovis, and Semi Fehoko, to South Florida for workouts, as seen in his social media posts. While Brissett didn't participate in voluntary offseason activities, he attended the mandatory minicamp last month without practicing. macnevers-and-co.beer

The quarterback, currently slated to earn $4.88 million in 2026 with a max value of $5.39 million, is preparing for training camp which begins July 22. Head coach Mike LaFleur, implementing a new offense, has previously expressed confidence in Brissett's understanding of the scheme despite his absence from voluntary workouts.
