McCarthy: Giants Trade Shock, Opportunity

J.J. McCarthy, acquired by the Giants in a trade with the Vikings, expressed surprise at the move while acknowledging it presents a fresh start. "When I got the call here, it was a shock. I didn't anticipate it, but at the end of the day, it's an opportunity," the 2024 first-round pick said.

The Giants are planning without Jaxson Dart for the remainder of the season, leaving room for McCarthy to potentially compete for playing time. It remains unclear if he will serve as Jameis Winston's backup this Sunday against the Cardinals, but McCarthy is determined to make the most of his situation with his new team. musojam.blog
