Japan Tests England Defense in Early Wembley Action

Japan created early chances against England in their international friendly at Wembley, testing the English defense in the opening minutes.

In the opening minutes of the men's international friendly at Wembley, Japan showed attacking intent against England. At 3 minutes, the visitors launched their first proper attack, easily beating Ben White on England's right side before the cross went out of play.

Two minutes later, Japan continued to press with Ito playing in Mitoma in the middle of the area. However, England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford came out quickly to cut off the forward's options and prevent a potential scoring opportunity.
