Aidan O'Brien has confirmed that a computer glitch mistakenly removed two horses from the 2,000 Guineas, causing market confusion.

The most successful operation in Europe has left the ante-post market in turmoil after a technical error removed Albert Einstein and Gstaad from the race.

O'Brien described the issue as a "blip" and called for common sense to be applied to reinstate the horses.
