The field for the 2026 World Cup is officially set with all 48 teams confirmed after dramatic qualifiers. Bosnia & Herzegovina denied Italy a berth for the third straight time, while Turkey returned after a 24-year absence. Sweden also qualified on a late goal from Viktor Gyökeres, and Congo DR punched its ticket for the first-ever World Cup.

The tournament kicks off in Mexico City on June 11. The teams are now placed into 12 groups, featuring co-hosts Mexico, the USA, and Canada. Notably, Turkey will face the United States, Paraguay, and Australia in Group D.
