Rennes' Lepaul Aims for Ligue 1 Top Scorer Title

Rennes forward Esteban Lepaul has set his sights on the Ligue 1 Top Scorer trophy, currently third with 14 goals, and has seven matches to close the gap.

Lepaul, 25, is chasing the prestigious individual prize as the Ligue 1 season nears its end. With 14 goals, he sits behind Mason Greenwood (15) and Joaquín Panichelli (16) in the standings, and no player has scored more non‑penalty goals this campaign.

Despite Panichelli’s ACL injury ruling him out for the rest of the season, Lepaul remains focused on finishing top scorer. He said the challenge is “magnificent” and that he is not yet thinking about a France call‑up, concentrating instead on his season objectives.
