Filipowski Adapts to Multiple Positions Amid Jazz Injuries

With key front‑court players sidelined, Kyle Filipowski has taken on more minutes and started 38 games, playing both forward and center for the Utah Jazz.

Coach Will Hardy said Filipowski is not a traditional center but can play the position when needed. The injuries to the Jazz’s front court forced him to fill the role, giving him more playing time and a chance to develop new defensive and offensive skills.

Filipowski appreciates the growth from switching positions and is excited to better understand teammates like Walker Kessler and Jaren Jackson Jr. With five games left, the experience is shaping his future.
