Brett Decker Jr., a 5th Region Player of the Year at Central Hardin High School, has emerged as a prolific scorer for the Liberty Flames. In 2025‑26 he posted 16.9 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.1 assists per game, shooting 49.9% from the field and 47.1% from three‑point range.

Kentucky’s Mark Pope system, which struggled with consistent 3‑point shooting, could benefit from Decker’s sharpshooting. Rumors suggest the Wildcats will pursue him when the transfer portal opens on April 7.
