Oilers Without Hyman, Draisaitl Set to Return

Edmonton will be without forward Zach Hyman for Saturday’s game against the Vegas Golden Knights, while centre Leon Draisaitl is expected to resume skating soon.

Forward Zach Hyman (31 goals, 20 assists) will miss Saturday’s 8 p.m. MT/10 p.m. ET match with the Vegas Golden Knights because of an undisclosed injury. Oilers coach Kris Knoblauch said Hyman could return in a playoff game.

Centre Leon Draisaitl is slated to resume skating in the coming days after a lower‑body injury that sidelined him since March 15. Draisaitl, who had 35 goals and 62 assists before the injury, will not travel with the team for the final road trip, but his return is a boost as Edmonton remains tied with Anaheim atop the Pacific Division.
