Toronto FC rallied from a 2-0 deficit with three unanswered goals in the final 25 minutes to secure a wild 3-2 victory over Colorado Rapids. The match featured three red cards, including Colorado goalkeeper Zack Steffen's disastrous own goal that tied the game before Sargent's decisive strike.

Colorado took an early lead with goals from Paxten Aaronson on a set piece and Keegan Rosenberry off a rebound. Richie Layera pulled one back for Toronto before Steffen's own goal in the 70th minute set up Sargent's winner in the 85th minute. Rapids became the second MLS team with three red cards in a match this season.
