Royal Challengers Bengaluru reached 250/3 against Chennai Super Kings, the highest total of IPL 2026, thanks to a blistering 97-run barrage in the final five overs.

Tim David and Rajat Patidar combined for a rapid 99-run stand, with David smashing 70 off 25 balls and Patidar remaining unbeaten on 48. Devdutt Padikkal also contributed 50 off 29 as the team accelerated from 153 for 3.

Despite a slow start and Virat Kohli's early dismissal, RCB dominated the death overs, hitting 97 runs in the 16th to 20th overs to set a formidable target.
