Jemimah Rodrigues Gifts SUV to Childhood Coach

The 25-year-old middle-order batter, who was instrumental in India's maiden Women's ODI World Cup triumph, presented the vehicle to Shetty, who has been coaching her since she was nine years old. Rodrigues first walked into the MIG Cricket Club with her father Ivan, hoping to learn the sport at the club's academy.

Shetty had previously recalled how he convinced club officials to make a special concession for the young girl despite the academy being only for boys at the time.
