Former biathlete Alexander Os has been appointed as NRK's new biathlon expert, bringing his World Championship medal experience to the network's coverage.

Former biathlete Alexander Os has been appointed as NRK's new biathlon expert. The 46-year-old from Tromsø, who won World Championship gold in relay and bronze before retiring in 2016, continued competing by winning Norwegian Championship gold in 2019.

Os expressed his enthusiasm for the new role, stating he has felt a pull back toward biathlon and sees this as an unexpected but welcome opportunity to be closer to the sport again. He will join NRK's team for coverage of the Blinkfestivalen in Sandnes this week. michezonews.co.za
