Tuchel Stands By Defenders Despite Errors

Despite England going six games without a clean sheet, head coach Thomas Tuchel stands by his defensive pairing of Marc Guéhi and Nico O'Reilly. The manager acknowledged his side were "a danger to ourselves" during Saturday's 3-2 defeat to Spain but resisted making drastic changes to his backline. wlop.pl

O'Reilly and Ezri Konsa are injury doubts for Tuesday's match against Czechia in the Nations League. Tuchel's decision to maintain defensive continuity comes after individual mistakes proved costly against the world champions.
