Dodgers Pick Skubal For NLDS Game 1

The left-handed pitcher, acquired midseason from Detroit, will take the mound at Dodgers Stadium on Saturday. Skubal struggled initially but returned to form, finishing the regular season 3-2 with a 2.52 ERA in eight starts.

The Dodgers (93-60) are in the postseason for the 14th consecutive season. Skubal's start could allow Yoshinobu Yamamoto or Blake Snell to pitch Game 2. The Braves' Game 1 starter remains unclear, but is presumed to be Chris Sale. xsportfeed.quest
