Handball Coach Cadenas Mentors Young Cancer Survivor

Veteran handball coach Manolo Cadenas began giving private training to 16-year-old A Manu, a young player who fought a serious battle with sarcoma myeloid cancer.

Manolo Cadenas, the veteran handball coach, approached A Manu's family shortly after the 16-year-old was discharged from an eight-month hospitalization due to sarcoma myeloid cancer. The young player had spent approximately 200 days in isolation during his treatment and had lost significant weight, dropping to just 50 kg.

Despite trying to downplay his involvement, Cadenas has been working individually with the boy who, before his illness, had been selected for the lower categories of the Castilla y León regional team. The coach's personal initiative highlights his commitment to developing young talent beyond his professional coaching duties. truewildgame.online
