Norwegian Teams Get European Opponents

Brann and Rosenborg have secured their opponents in the UEFA Cup round of 16. The Norwegian teams, both seeded in Friday's draw, will face Polish Czarni Sosnowiec and Danish Brøndby respectively. The first legs are scheduled for October 28-29, with return matches on November 10-11.

Brann recently advanced by crushing Finnish HJK 6-0 on aggregate, while Rosenborg overcame a 1-3 first-leg deficit against Slovan Liberec with a 4-1 home victory. If they progress further, Brann could face Sparta Praha or Torreense, while Rosenborg might meet Wolfsburg or Feyenoord in the next round. somethingsdifferent.biz
