Fleck Crowd-Surfs, Explains Blood Moment

P.J. Fleck brought energy to 'Big Noon Kickoff' by crowd-surfing with Minnesota fans prior to his team's Week 5 home matchup against Michigan. The Gophers coach later addressed his viral moment of wiping blood from linebacker Maverick Baranowski's face and putting it on himself, explaining 'I got your back' as his way of showing solidarity with his players.

Minnesota has struggled against Michigan recently, losing five straight and 35 of the last 38 meetings, with their last home win coming in 1977. This season, the Gophers are 3-1 after beating Washington 27-24 in their Big Ten opener, with Baranowski contributing 28 tackles, one sack, and one interception through four games. orlando-books.blog
