USA-Mexico Crucial Test for New Generation

Despite technically being a home game in Tempe, Arizona, the USA will face a predominantly pro-Mexico crowd of 60,000+, creating conditions coach Mauricio Pochettino compares to starting "down 1-nil." This hostile environment provides vital preparation for the upcoming 2030 World Cup qualifiers.

With the USA having never won a competitive match south of the border in almost 80 years, Pochettino embraces this adversity as an opportunity to develop young players. The match follows impressive wins over Peru and Chile, with this test serving as a crucial measure of their ability to perform under pressure. djcc.club
