Connah's Quay Nomads 1-2 TNS: TNS have won the Cymru Premier title for the fifth consecutive season and a record-extending 18th time overall with a 2-1 victory over closest challengers Connah's Quay Nomads.

Victory moves TNS an unassailable 18 points clear of their beaten opponents with five games remaining and ensures Craig Harrison's side continue their dominance of the competition.

All the action came in the final ten minutes as TNS were awarded a penalty in the 83rd minute which was tucked away by Ben Wilson.

But it looked like they may have to wait a little longer to mathematically confirm top spot when Connah's Quay were back level within a minute as Harry Franklin cancelled out the opener.

However Danny Davies popped up at the back post to fire home a 94th minute winner to snatch a dramatic victory that gave his side another league title.

Barry Town United 1-0 Penybont: In the night's other fixture, a 58th-minute goal from Ieuan Owen gave Barry Town United a 1-0 win over Penybont at Jenner Park.

A third consecutive win for Barry moves them above Colwyn Bay up to fifth and just a point behind third-placed Penybont who are now without a win in their past five league games.
