The Denver Broncos are receiving calls regarding the availability of one of their quarterbacks.

Dianna Russini of The Athletic reported on Wednesday that teams have reached out to Denver about veteran signal-caller Jarrett Stidham.

Sitdham has been the Broncos' backup quarterback for the last three seasons.

"As the QB market plays out, trade targets remain in play for several teams. I’m told teams have reached out to the Broncos about backup Jarrett Stidham, whose lone start of the season came in the AFC Championship Game against the Patriots," Russini said.

Stidham hasn't thrown a pass in a regular-season game in two years, but he did start for the Broncos in the AFC Championship Game and had some nice moments. He has also been a key figure in the development of Bo Nix.

The 29-year-old is one of the better backups in football, and the Minnesota Vikings, Green Bay Packers, and Los Angeles Rams should have interest in Stidham.

Minnesota will be in the market for a veteran quarterback this offseason to compete with J.J. McCarthy. Stidham likely won't beat out McCarthy for the starting job, but he would provide some competition and push the young signal-caller to be the best version of himself.

Green Bay is set to lose Malik Willis in free agency, meaning they will need a new backup quarterback. Stidham would be a solid fit in Mike LaFleur's offense and would be a high-level backup behind Jordan Love.

Like the Packers, Los Angeles' 2025 backup, Jimmy Garoppolo, will be a free agent. Replacing Garoppolo with Stidham would be an upgrade at backup signal-caller behind Matthew Stafford.

Stidham isn't a starting-caliber quarterback, but if he hits the trade block, he should have interest from many franchises, including the Vikings, Packers, and Rams.
